Blog Assignment 3

As a teacher in the 21st century classroom it is our responsibility to be constantly open to be technology and trends as we continue to educate. As teachers we are constantly learning just like students.
George Warren is
Hewlett-Packard's marketing director of k-12 education in North America. He is quoted by saying, " That's what the industry now has to focus on -- which is hard, because countervailing forces are at work. For that reason, we talk a lot about the tablet PC. When it comes to new things that are happening, nothing is more exciting than the tablet PC. It's a wholly new platform -- the first truly mobile device we've seen in the market."

Technology is improving all the time and staying up with trends and innovations is very important. The tablet PC's are just one innovative piece of technology that will impact education in the next decade. "When you look at a teacher managing an entire roomful of devices, it's an exciting new development that's getting wings," Warren says.
PC's are only one new piece of technology but teachers need to be looking for new technology and ways to incorporate it into the classroom. There are many websites teachers can visit to feel that they are being updating technically.
